    Essential and analytics. Nothing else.

    No advertising cookies

We never use retargeting, ad networks, or social tracking pixels.

PostHog is off by default. Nothing captures until you say yes.

    Your choice is remembered

Preferences are stored locally and respected on every visit.

    1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to remember information between visits — like keeping you signed in or storing a preference. Some cookies are essential for a site to work; others are optional.

Alongside cookies, modern web apps also use local storage and session storage, which are similar browser storage mechanisms. Where relevant we've included these in the tables below and refer to them all collectively as "cookies" for simplicity.

This policy covers cookies and equivalent storage set by Style Keeper AI Inc. and by the small number of third-party services we rely on to run the Service.

    2. Cookies We Use

We keep our cookie footprint intentionally small. We use two categories only: essential and analytics.

    2.1 Essential Cookies

These are strictly necessary for the Service to work. They keep you signed in, remember your consent choices, and protect against certain security attacks. They cannot be disabled through the consent banner.

    NamePurposeProviderDuration
sb-*-auth-tokenMaintains your authenticated Supabase session across pages.Supabase (first-party storage)Up to 1 year (refreshed)
    sb-*-auth-token-code-verifierShort-lived PKCE code verifier used during sign-in / OAuth flows.Supabase (first-party storage)Session
stylekeeper-cookie-consentStores your cookie preference so we don't ask again on every visit.Style Keeper AI (first-party storage)Persistent (until cleared)

    2.2 Analytics Cookies

Analytics helps us understand which features are used and where users get stuck. We use PostHog with strict privacy defaults: no autocapture, no session recording, all inputs masked. Analytics is off by default and only enabled if you opt in via the consent banner.

    NamePurposeProviderDuration
ph_*_posthogStores an anonymous device identifier and event queue for product analytics.PostHog (opt-in)1 year
    ph_*_window_idDistinguishes between browser tabs/windows for accurate session grouping.PostHog (opt-in)Session

2.3 Cookies We Do Not Use

To be explicit — we do not set or allow:

    • Advertising or ad-network cookies of any kind.
    • Retargeting or cross-site behavioral tracking pixels.
    • Social media tracking cookies (Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.).
    • Data-broker or audience-building cookies.
    • Third-party cookies that would let anyone else profile your browsing.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

    3. Third-Party Services

A small number of third-party services set cookies or equivalent storage in the context of the Service. Each is used for a specific, functional purpose.

    Supabase

    Authentication & database

Stores your signed-in session token in first-party storage so you don't have to log in on every page. Essential — cannot be disabled.

    PostHog

    Product analytics (opt-in)

Anonymous product analytics. Autocapture and session recording are disabled, and all form inputs are masked. Only loads if you opt in.

    Stripe

    Payment processing

Loaded only during subscription checkout and billing flows. Stripe may set its own cookies at that time to protect against fraud and secure the payment session.

    4. Managing Preferences

You can change your cookie choices at any time. There are three ways to do it.

    4.1 In-App Preference Center

The simplest option — open the cookie preference banner directly:

You can also open it any time from the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer.

    4.2 Browser Controls

All modern browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies for any site. Instructions:

Blocking essential cookies will break sign-in and other core Service functionality.

4.3 Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Because we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking, and because analytics is strictly opt-in, no non-essential tracking runs unless you affirmatively consent in the cookie banner. In effect, this means a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal cannot be overridden by us — nothing sellable or shareable is collected by default. Where required by law (including CPRA), we treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. See our Do Not Sell or Share page for more.
