Sensitive Information Notice
Style Keeper AI uses body measurements, physical attributes, style preferences, garment photos, label photos, purchase outcomes, and related fit history to generate fit, style, color, size, return-risk, and garment suitability recommendations. We use this information to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell this information or use it for third-party advertising.
Biometric Data — Local-Only Processing
The optional photo-based color analysis feature uses on-device face landmark detection (Google MediaPipe FaceLandmarker, running entirely in your browser via WebAssembly) to locate cheeks, forehead, hair, and iris regions so it can sample skin, hair, and eye color values. Landmarks are used only to pick pixel-sample locations and are discarded immediately after the color labels are produced. No face-geometry template, faceprint, iris scan, or other biometric identifier is created, transmitted, stored, or shared, and no uploaded photo ever leaves your device for this feature. Style Keeper AI does not use facial recognition, fingerprinting, voiceprints, or any biometric identifier to identify users. You may skip photo color analysis and enter your color palette manually at any time; existing sampled colors can be cleared from Profile → Style Preferences.

1. Introduction & Scope
Style Keeper AI Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website stylekeeperai.com and provides an AI-powered fashion intelligence platform including Keeper Score™ analysis, Scan a Label, Keeper Closet, Size Passport, color analysis, style compatibility scoring, and related features (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information in connection with the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the practices described herein. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
This Policy applies to all users of the Service regardless of location. Additional rights and disclosures for EEA/UK users and California residents are described in Sections 4 and 8 respectively.
Style Keeper AI Inc. is the data controller of personal data processed in connection with the Service. For questions about how we process your personal data, contact us at privacy@stylekeeperai.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the Service and improve prediction accuracy. We do not create, transmit, or store biometric identifiers (faceprints, fingerprints, voiceprints, retina scans, or genetic data). The optional photo color analysis feature (described in Section 6.8) uses on-device face landmark detection to locate skin, hair, and eye regions for color sampling only; landmarks are held in browser memory for the duration of the analysis and discarded — no image or landmark data is transmitted to or stored by our servers.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Body Measurements: Bust, waist, hips, chest, shoulder, sleeve, inseam, and other measurements you voluntarily enter for fit prediction.
- Clothing Sizes by Category: Sizes you select for specific garment categories (tops, bottoms, dresses, outerwear, shoes) during onboarding or profile setup, used to improve size confidence scoring.
- Physical Attributes: Height, weight (optional), eye color, hair color, and skin tone for color analysis and style recommendations.
- Color Season: Your computed seasonal color type (e.g., Soft Summer, True Winter), derived from your reported physical attributes. This is a derived output, not a directly collected field, and is stored in your profile to power color harmony scoring.
- Fit Preference & Fit Frustrations: How you prefer clothes to fit (fitted, regular, or relaxed) and specific fit issues you experience (e.g., "waistband gaps at the back," "shoulders too wide"). This data is used to personalize garment scoring and flag known fit problems in analyses.
- Style Aesthetic Tags: Style descriptors you select (e.g., minimalist, classic, romantic) and preferred brands used to calibrate style compatibility scores.
- Garment URLs: Product URLs or links you paste into the Service for Keeper Score™ analysis.
- Garment Photos: Photos of garments you upload to Keeper Closet or for other analysis features.
- Label Photos: Images of garment care labels or tags uploaded via Scan a Label or Keeper Closet.
- OCR & Extracted Garment Data: Text and metadata extracted from label images via optical character recognition (OCR) and AI image analysis, including brand, size, fabric composition, care instructions, and country of origin.
- Keeper Closet Records: Closet item entries including photos, labels, Keeper Scores™, and associated metadata stored in your closet-specific area.
- Size Passport Records: Brand-specific size calibrations and fit data compiled from your fit history and stored in your Size Passport.
- Fit History / Saved Analyses: Records of previous Fit Checks (URL-based analyses), results, and saved reports from your dashboard.
- Fit Feedback: Self-reported outcomes of purchases (kept or returned) and return reasons used to improve prediction accuracy.
- Support Communications: Messages, emails, and other communications you send to our support or legal team.
- Cancellation Feedback: If you cancel a subscription, the reason you select (e.g., "too expensive," "not using enough") and any optional free-text explanation you provide at the time of cancellation.
- Saved Products / Wishlist: Product URLs and associated metadata you bookmark or save for future reference from your dashboard or fit results.
- Outfit Data: Outfit combinations you create, including the garments included, associated Keeper Scores™, and any sharing links you generate.
- Payment Metadata: Subscription plan, billing period, and transaction status. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store or access full payment card numbers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, fit checks performed, click patterns, feature interaction logs, and session duration.
- Device & Browser Information: Browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and IP address.
- Log Data: Server-side logs including request timestamps, error logs, and performance data.
- Cookies & Local Storage: We use cookies and local storage to maintain session state, remember preferences, and analyze usage. See Section 10.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including generating personalized Keeper Scores™, fit predictions, color analyses, style assessments, OCR label extractions, Closet analyses, and Size Passport profiles.
- To use your per-brand fit outcome history — including the number of garments from each brand you have kept or returned — as a contextual input for generating personalized Keeper Scores™. This per-brand history is transmitted to third-party AI model providers as part of each analysis request, as described in Section 5.
- To process, analyze, and store garment photos, label photos, and extracted OCR data as part of Scan a Label, Keeper Closet, and related features.
- To train, validate, and improve our AI models, scoring algorithms, and computer vision pipelines using de-identified or aggregated data that cannot reasonably be linked back to individual users.
- To process subscription payments and manage your account and billing.
- To send service updates, security alerts, renewal reminders, and account-related transactional notifications.
- To provide customer support when you contact us.
- To detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and Terms of Service violations.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations and to enforce our Terms of Service.
- To generate aggregated, anonymized analytics about Service usage and model performance.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide the Service you have subscribed to, including generating fit predictions, managing your account, and processing payments.
- Legitimate Interests: Processing for our legitimate business interests — including improving our AI models using de-identified data, detecting fraud, ensuring security, and analyzing aggregated usage patterns — where these interests are not overridden by your data protection rights.
- Consent: Where you have given explicit consent, such as for optional data inputs (e.g., physical attributes for color analysis) or for uses beyond core Service delivery. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Legal Obligation: Processing necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations, including data retention obligations and responses to lawful government requests.
For processing of sensitive data (body measurements, physical attributes, garment images), we rely on your explicit consent or the necessity of processing for the performance of our contract with you.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Payment Processing: Stripe, Inc. processes subscription payments and manages billing on our behalf. We share only the information necessary to complete transactions (subscription plan, price, billing period, and a customer identifier). We do not store full payment card numbers. Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by its own privacy policy.
- AI & Infrastructure Providers: We use third-party AI model providers, cloud infrastructure, and OCR/vision services to deliver the Service. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements consistent with applicable law and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
- Analytics Providers: We use privacy-focused product analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. Data shared with analytics providers is pseudonymized (identified by a random device identifier, not your email or name), sensitive inputs are masked, and session recordings are disabled by default. See Section 10 for the specific provider we use and how to opt out.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Style Keeper AI Inc., our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business or assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or prominent in-app notice before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.
We do not share your body measurements, physical attributes, garment photos, label photos, or Closet records with retailers, brands, or any third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Feature-Specific Privacy Disclosures
6.0 URL-Based Fit Check
When you submit a product URL for a Keeper Score™ analysis, the Service makes a network request from our servers to the URL you provide to fetch and parse the third-party product page. The following data may be collected and stored in connection with this feature:
- The product URL you submitted.
- Product information extracted from the page at the time of analysis, including product name, brand, price, description, size options, fabric composition, and product images where available.
- The resulting Keeper Score™ and analysis metadata saved to your Fit History.
The third-party website at the submitted URL receives and may independently log the network request our servers make to it. Style Keeper AI Inc. does not control what data that third-party website collects from requests made to it. Product data extracted from a URL reflects the page content at the time of analysis and may become outdated if the retailer subsequently updates or removes the product page.
6.1 Scan a Label
When you use Scan a Label, you upload garment or care-label images to the Service. These images are transmitted to and processed by our AI, computer vision, and OCR systems. The following data may be collected and stored in your account:
- The original uploaded images (up to 5 per session).
- OCR-extracted text from label images.
- Inferred garment attributes (brand, size, fabric, care instructions, origin).
- The resulting Keeper Score™ and analysis metadata.
Image quality, lighting, label condition, and font readability directly affect extraction accuracy. Extracted data is an AI estimate — not a verified or authenticated record of garment information.
6.2 Keeper Closet
When you add items to your Keeper Closet, the following data is collected and stored in closet-specific records:
- Garment photos and label images you upload.
- OCR-extracted label data and AI-inferred garment attributes.
- Keeper Scores™ and analysis outputs for each closet item.
- Item metadata such as category, date added, and any notes you provide.
Closet records are stored separately from your Fit Checks and Fit History and are not published, shared, or surfaced in other product areas. Closet data is accessible only to you through your account, and to Style Keeper AI Inc. for purposes described in Section 3.
6.3 Size Passport
Your Size Passport stores brand-specific size calibrations derived from your fit history. This data is stored in your account and is not shared with third parties unless you take an explicit action to share it.
When a Keeper Score™ analysis completes successfully, your recommended size for that garment's brand and category may be automatically saved to your Size Passport without requiring additional action. This auto-save is part of building your size calibration profile over time and can be reviewed or deleted from your Size Passport at any time.
6.4 Shared Passport Links
If you choose to share your Size Passport via a generated link:
- Anyone who has the link may view your Size Passport data until you revoke it, regardless of whether they have a Style Keeper AI Inc. account.
- Style Keeper AI Inc. applies technical measures (including noindex/noarchive directives) to discourage search engine indexing of shared passport pages where feasible. However, we cannot guarantee that all search engines or archiving services will honor these directives.
- Recipients may copy, download, screenshot, or otherwise preserve the shared content before you revoke access. Revocation removes future access but does not recover content already viewed or saved by recipients.
- You are solely responsible for the decision to share your Passport and the scope of data shared.
6.5 AI Model Improvement
We may use de-identified and aggregated data derived from your use of the Service — including anonymized fit outcomes, scoring patterns, and OCR results — to improve our own AI models, scoring accuracy, and computer vision pipelines. This data cannot reasonably be linked back to you individually. We do not share identifiable user data with third parties for AI training purposes.
Third-party AI providers: When we route a request to our third-party AI model providers listed in Section 5.1, the request payload is subject to that provider's data-use terms. Under those terms, providers process the request to return a response and do not use the content of your requests to train their own foundation models. We do not opt in to any provider program that would use identifiable user data for third-party model training.
6.6 Result Sharing & Social Features
If you choose to share a Keeper Score™ result using the in-app share feature, the following applies:
- The product name, brand, and Keeper Score™ are embedded in a publicly accessible image generated by our servers (an Open Graph image hosted at a URL controlled by Style Keeper AI Inc.).
- When you share to X (Twitter), Reddit, or another platform, this image URL and the associated share text are transmitted to and stored by that third-party platform, subject to their own privacy policies and terms of service.
- Style Keeper AI Inc. does not control how third-party social platforms handle, store, display, or use content after you publish it. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any platform you share to.
- Sharing is always optional and user-initiated. Style Keeper AI Inc. does not automatically post content to any social platform on your behalf.
6.7 Outfit Sharing
If you create an outfit and generate a sharing link, the shared page may display garment images, product names, brands, and Keeper Scores™ for the items in your outfit. Outfit sharing follows the same principles as Size Passport sharing described in Sections 6.3 and 6.4: anyone with the link may access the shared content until you delete the outfit or revoke the link, and Style Keeper AI Inc. cannot recover content already viewed or preserved by recipients prior to revocation.
6.8 Photo Color Analysis (Client-Side Only)
The Service offers an optional photo color analysis feature during onboarding. If you choose to use this feature, the following applies:
- No upload, no server transmission: When you take or select a photo for color analysis, the image is processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript and the HTML5 Canvas API. Your photo is never transmitted to our servers, never stored by Style Keeper AI Inc., and never shared with any third party.
- What the feature does: The browser samples average pixel colors from regions of the image corresponding to your face (skin tone), hair area, and eye area. These color samples are compared to a predefined set of color categories to identify the closest match.
- What is retained: Only the resulting color category values (e.g., skin tone: "Light," hair color: "Dark Brown," eye color: "Green") are saved to your profile — the same values you could enter manually. No image data, pixel data, or raw color values are retained or transmitted.
- Not biometric data: This feature performs average pixel color sampling — it does not perform facial recognition, does not map facial geometry or landmarks, does not create a biometric template, and does not identify you as an individual. It is functionally equivalent to asking you to match your coloring against color swatches.
- Completely optional: You can bypass this feature entirely and enter your skin tone, hair color, and eye color manually. Using or declining this feature has no effect on your access to the Service.
- Immediate discard: After the color values are extracted, the browser discards the image object and releases its memory. No copy of the image persists in the browser session, local storage, or any cache controlled by the Service.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Concrete durations by data class:
- Fit Checks (
fit_checks) & Keeper Closet items (closet_items): Retained until you delete the individual record or delete your account. Removed from active systems within 30 days of deletion. - Credit ledger (
credit_ledger) & billing records: Retained for 7 years from the date of the transaction to satisfy US and EU tax, accounting, and financial-audit obligations. This retention overrides account deletion for the ledger rows only. - Legal consents (
legal_consents) — Terms, Privacy, cookie, age-gate acceptances: Retained for the life of your account plus 6 years after account closure, to evidence the terms in force at the time you agreed and to defend or bring claims within applicable statutes of limitation. - Error monitoring (Sentry): Event data is retained for 30 days, then purged by the processor.
- Product analytics (PostHog): Retention follows our current PostHog plan (currently up to 12 months for event data on the paid tier; up to 7 years on higher tiers if we later upgrade). Session recording is disabled; input fields are masked.
- Server & application logs: Retained for up to 90 days, then deleted or anonymized.
- Support communications: Retained for up to 3 years from last contact, or longer for active legal matters.
- Uploaded images (garment & label photos): Stored for the life of your account and removed within 30 days of account deletion; backup copies purged within an additional 30 days.
- Inactive accounts: Accounts with no login activity for 24 consecutive months may be anonymized or deleted after prior notice to your registered email.
- Aggregated / anonymized data: Fully de-identified data that cannot reasonably be linked to any individual may be retained indefinitely for model training and analytics.
- Legal obligations: Records may be retained beyond the periods above where required by law, subpoena, court order, or regulatory authority.
| Data class | Retention | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Account & profile | Life of account + 30 days | Contract |
| Fit checks, closet items, saved products | Life of account + 30 days | Contract |
| Uploaded photos (garment, label, closet) | Life of account + 30 days (backups + 30) | Contract |
| Credit ledger & Stripe billing records | 7 years from transaction | Legal obligation (tax/audit) |
| Legal consents (Terms, Privacy, age, cookie) | Life of account + 6 years | Legal claim defense |
| Support communications | Up to 3 years from last contact | Legitimate interest |
| Product analytics (PostHog) | Up to 12 months | Consent |
| Error monitoring (Sentry) | 30 days | Legitimate interest (security) |
| Server & application logs | Up to 90 days | Legitimate interest (security) |
| Database backups | 30 days rolling | Legitimate interest (continuity) |
| Inactive accounts (no login 24 mo.) | Anonymized/deleted after notice | Data minimization |
Table is a summary of the full retention rules above. Where the two conflict, the narrative controls.
8. Your Rights
8.1 Rights Under GDPR (EEA / UK / Switzerland)
If you are located in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under applicable data protection law:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Restriction: Request that we restrict our processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Portability: Request your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.
- Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Lodge a Complaint: File a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g., your national data protection authority).
No solely-automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effect (GDPR Art. 22 / UK GDPR). The Keeper Score™, Style Reports, fit predictions, and recommendations are decision-support outputs designed to inform your own purchase decisions. They do not produce legal effects concerning you, do not affect access to credit, employment, housing, insurance, or essential services, and are not used to profile you for any decision with similarly significant effect. You always choose whether to purchase, keep, or discard a garment. If we ever introduce a feature that would rely on solely automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22, we will notify affected users in advance and provide the safeguards required by law (including the right to obtain human intervention, express your point of view, and contest the decision).
8.2 Rights Under CCPA / CPRA (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, purposes, and categories of recipients.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale / Sharing: Style Keeper AI Inc. does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide required opt-out controls. A "Do Not Sell or Share" link is available in the footer of our website for California residents, confirming our non-sale status.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121): We explicitly disclose that your body measurements, physical attributes, garment photos, and Keeper Closet photos qualify as "sensitive personal information" under the CPRA. You may direct us to limit our use of this data to what is strictly necessary to perform the Service you requested. Exercise this right at any time via Do Not Sell or Share / Limit Use of Sensitive PI, or by emailing privacy@stylekeeperai.com.
8.3 Rights Under Other US State Privacy Laws
If you are a resident of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Montana (MCDPA), Delaware (DPDPA), Iowa (ICDPA), New Hampshire, New Jersey, or Tennessee, you have the following rights, subject to each state's exceptions and thresholds:
- Right to Confirm and Access: Confirm whether we process your personal data and obtain a copy in a portable, readily usable format.
- Right to Correct: Correct inaccuracies in the personal data you provided, taking into account its nature and the purposes of processing.
- Right to Delete: Delete personal data provided by or obtained about you.
- Right to Opt Out of (a) sale of personal data, (b) targeted advertising, and (c) profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Style Keeper AI Inc. does not sell personal data, does not engage in targeted advertising as defined by these laws, and does not use profiling for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. If our practices change, we will provide opt-out mechanisms as required.
- Right to Appeal: If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response or emailing privacy@stylekeeperai.com with subject "Privacy Request Appeal." We will respond within the timeframe required by your state's law (generally 45–60 days). If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
- Sensitive Data Consent (VA, CO, CT, OR, MT, DE, NH, NJ, TX): Where required, we obtain your consent (or provide a clear right to opt out where applicable) before processing sensitive personal data — including body measurements, physical characteristics, and uploaded photos — for purposes beyond providing the Service you requested.
- Universal Opt-Out Signals (CO, CT, OR, MT, NJ, DE, NH, TX): We honor recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals (e.g., Global Privacy Control) as opt-out requests for sale and targeted advertising where such signals apply.
- Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Submit any of these requests, or an appeal, by emailing privacy@stylekeeperai.com or using our Do Not Sell or Share / Limit Use of Sensitive PI page.
8.4 How to Exercise Your Rights
The fastest way to exercise most rights is directly in the Service: your Account → Subscription page lets you view your profile, download a copy of your data, and delete your account. For requests that cannot be completed in-app, contact us at privacy@stylekeeperai.com. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 30 days, with an extension of up to 60 days where permitted). We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
To withdraw consent to our processing of sensitive personal information (including body measurements, physical attributes, and uploaded images), adjust your profile in your account settings or email privacy@stylekeeperai.com. Note that withdrawing consent for data required to operate core features may limit or prevent your use of those features.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. Data protection laws in these countries may differ from those in your home country.
Where required by applicable law (including GDPR), we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission and supplementary measures consistent with applicable data protection guidance.
For EU/UK users, international transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses; the current subprocessor list is at /subprocessors.
Enterprise customers may request a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) governing processing activities by contacting legal@stylekeeperai.com.
EU/UK Representative (Article 27 GDPR): At this time, the Service is primarily directed to users in the United States. If Style Keeper AI Inc. begins actively offering the Service to users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland in a manner that requires appointment of a local representative, we will update this Policy with the representative's contact information. Users in those regions may contact us at privacy@stylekeeperai.com.
10. Cookies & Analytics
We use the following types of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential Cookies & Local Storage: Required for the Service to function, including authentication tokens (issued by Supabase Auth), session state, cookie-consent preferences, and security features. These cannot be disabled without impairing Service functionality.
- Preference Storage: Stores your settings and preferences (e.g., unit system, dashboard layout, cookie-consent status) in browser local storage.
- Analytics Cookies: Set only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. Help us understand aggregate usage patterns so we can improve performance and features. Data is pseudonymized — identified by a random device identifier rather than your name or email.
10.1 Product Analytics — PostHog
We use PostHog, Inc. to measure how the Service is used so we can improve it. Our PostHog configuration is set up for privacy:
- Opt-in by default: Analytics capture is disabled until you accept in the cookie banner. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics events are sent.
- What we capture: Page paths (without query strings that contain personal data), named events such as "fit_check_completed" or "subscription_started", timing metrics, and coarse device/browser information.
- What we do not capture: Session recording is disabled. Autocapture of clicks and form input is disabled. Where any input value would be recorded, it is masked. We do not send your body measurements, garment photos, label images, or Keeper Closet contents to PostHog.
- Identifiers: Events are attached to a random device identifier generated by PostHog. Once you sign in, we associate that identifier with your account so we can measure logged-in usage.
- Opt out at any time: Reopen the cookie banner from the footer, or clear the
stylekeeper-cookie-consentvalue in your browser storage. On opt-out, PostHog stops sending events from your device.
We do not currently respond to browser-based "Do Not Track" signals, as no universal standard for such signals has been adopted. We will update this disclosure if our practices change. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.
11. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS.
- Encryption of data at rest.
- Row-level security policies ensuring users can access only their own data.
- Secure authentication and credential management, including hashed passwords.
- Principle of least privilege for internal data access.
- Regular security reviews and access control audits.

Although we collect body measurements, physical attributes, and optionally photographs that may reveal information about your body, Style Keeper AI Inc. is not a healthcare provider, medical device, wellness platform, or fitness service. The data we collect is used solely to produce clothing fit predictions, size recommendations, and style guidance. We do not:
- Diagnose, treat, cure, monitor, or prevent any disease, medical condition, or physical impairment;
- Provide nutritional, dietary, weight-management, dermatological, or mental-health guidance;
- Function as a "covered entity" or "business associate" under the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA"), and the information we hold is not Protected Health Information (PHI); or
- Constitute a medical device under the U.S. Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745), or UK MDR 2002.
Nothing produced by the Service is intended as, or should be relied upon as, medical, dermatological, nutritional, psychological, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for any question relating to your health.
13. AI & Automated Processing Disclosures
Style Keeper AI Inc. uses artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and OCR to generate Keeper Scores™, fit predictions, label extractions, color analyses, style compatibility scores, and size recommendations. The following disclosures apply:
- Probabilistic outputs: All AI-generated outputs are probabilistic assessments, not guarantees. Scores and recommendations reflect statistical likelihoods based on the data you provide, and may be incorrect or incomplete.
- OCR and image parsing: When you upload garment photos or label images, we apply OCR and computer vision to extract text and infer garment attributes. Extraction accuracy depends on image quality and label completeness. Extracted data may be incomplete or contain errors.
- Data inputs: Your body measurements, physical attributes, garment data, uploaded images, and fit feedback are used as inputs to our AI models. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles or share it with third parties for targeting purposes.
- Aggregated model improvement: De-identified and aggregated data derived from user interactions may be used to train and improve our AI models. Individual identifying information is not used for this purpose.
- No legal or significant effects: AI-generated outputs from the Service do not produce legal effects or similarly significant consequences. All purchase, ownership, and style decisions remain solely at your discretion.
- Human review: You may contact us at privacy@stylekeeperai.com to request information about how AI-generated outputs were produced for your account, or to request human review or clarification of any AI-generated output.
